Library page added 17 Sep 2026. Research content date remains 15 Sep 2026. This is a navigation face for already-sourced competitor notes. It does not invent Canopy prices, take rates, traction, grants, customers, or OEM agreements. Named organisations are not partners.
What this page is
Canopy is entering occupied markets. Existing marketplaces, operator networks, autonomy products and payload ecosystems already overlap parts of a job object. The diligence rule is a buyer-specific advantage — not “no incumbent combines booking, operations, data and service coordination.”

What own land can and cannot prove
Founder fields in Bulgaria (~1,000 acres / ~405 ha) can test request → accept → live view → candidate evidence fields. They cannot prove arm’s-length demand, take rate, or network liquidity. Design: research/13-bulgaria-own-field-experiment.md.
OEM dock versus owned steel still reinforces “build the platform first / do not buy docks in seed”: research/14-hybrid-vs-oem-dock-autonomy.md. Changelog: research/CHANGELOG.md.
