## 2026-09-15 — competitor refresh + two new notes

**Updated**

- [`03-competitors.md`](03-competitors.md) — map, hardware, service networks, analytics, compelling-alternative names. OS wedge preserved.
- [`11-platform-vs-robotaxi.md`](11-platform-vs-robotaxi.md) — header `### Update 2026-09-15` only. Body unchanged; “build A first / don’t buy docks in seed” stands.
- [`../README.md`](../README.md) — Start here links.

**Added**

- [`13-bulgaria-own-field-experiment.md`](13-bulgaria-own-field-experiment.md) — own-land falsification design.
- [`14-hybrid-vs-oem-dock-autonomy.md`](14-hybrid-vs-oem-dock-autonomy.md) — OEM-dock vs owned fleet; reinforces 11.
- [`briefs/competitors-2026-09-15.md`](briefs/competitors-2026-09-15.md) — source brief (grades A–E).

## 2026-09-17 — Strapline reframe

Product identity locked to **The operating system for aerial field work.** Mandate and idea sections in thesis, product brief/system/platform, README, and the three original diligence papers now lead with the OS strapline. Uber-like / ride-hailing language is retained only as a secondary UX metaphor for request/accept and live track. No invented prices, traction, grants or partnerships. Stamp: `Updated: 2026-09-17 · strapline reframe`. Release note: [`../RELEASE_2026-09-17_STRAPLINE.md`](../RELEASE_2026-09-17_STRAPLINE.md).

## 2026-09-17 — External-facing copy pass

Removed soft-gate meta commentary from visitor-visible chrome (gate footer, hub lede/footer, simulator banner, library notice, deck exhibit captions). Site copy is fit to share with external investors, customers and collaborators. Product/ops constraints retained in polished form (civil payloads only; crew beacon is not aircraft path; weather is not flight clearance; interactive product preview is not live ops). Pricing, take rates and partnerships remain to be set after paid pilots — no invented commercial figures.
