Canopy · Integration

Fleet data ingest

Canopy does not assume remote-control authority over the aircraft. The commercial offer is a completed, accepted job. The contracted crew operates its own airframe in the native Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Ground Control Station (GCS). Version 1 (v1) ingest is a shared job contract, a tablet or phone crew beacon, a post-flight file export, and — as a product hypothesis — a Canopy Edge Field Kit that publishes provenance-labelled streams into Canopy Link. No Canopy take rate is invented. No weapons or offensive Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).

01 · Job contract One job object

Plot geometry, weather hold, live monitoring, and evidence fields. The same object appears on the asset-owner mobile application, the operator tablet, and the operations centre. Market templates change the commercial brief, not the data schema.

02 · Tablet and file Crew beacon, then OEM export

The crew flies in the native OEM GCS. Live monitoring uses the tablet or phone position tagged operator_beacon (crew or device location only). After landing, Canopy imports SmartFarm Keyhole Markup Language (KML), an XAG log, or AgroSol GeoJSON and writes a candidate evidence record.

03 · Canopy Edge Field kit · proposed

Starlink Mini for thin Wide Area Network (WAN) coverage. An Internet of Things (IoT) gateway stamps path_source and live_source, holds a short offline buffer, and does not assume flight-control authority. Not shipped hardware. Not a Starlink partnership.

04 · Canopy Link Cloud registry · proposed

Capability and evidence registry with fan-out to Live surfaces. Customer-facing “supported” status requires a completed conformance test. Supplier documentation alone remains “candidate”. No OEM commercial agreement is claimed.

OEM systems, Application Programming Interface (API) status, and v1 path

OEM / systemAPI statusv1 path
DJI Agras Public SmartFarm Application Programming Interface (API) not found (DJI Software Development Kit (SDK) guidance) Import SmartFarm KML after landing. Live monitoring uses the crew beacon. Canopy does not assume remote-control authority.
DJI FlightHub 2 OpenAPI — Dock and Matrice later; not Agras spray Not in the v1 spray path. Candidate test target only.
XAG open.xa.com — documentation thin Import XAG log. Crew operates in XAG One.
Hylio GeoJSON file exchange; no public Representational State Transfer (REST) API identified Import AgroSol GeoJSON after landing.
Pyka No public API identified No adapter in v1. Marketplace coordination only if a contracted crew brings the airframe.
Guardian Agriculture — Operations wound down in 2025. Not a live supplier for this plan.
Planet Tasking API Satellite cue: residual pixels on booked hectares only.
Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE) / Sentinel CDSE APIs Sentinel imagery on the cue map. The aircraft remains the primary product sensor for the job.
EnduroSat SpaceOps Balkan tasking discussion only. Not a satellite bus purchase. No FRAME Max in year zero.

A telemetry stream or file export is not automatically a legally accepted pesticide application record for the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) or equivalent. An online Edge Kit connection is not aircraft telemetry unless a named OEM adapter has been proven. Starlink remains a connectivity hypothesis only.
